There are many places and many seesights in Almaty. We want to tell you about Park of the Ferst President of Kazakhstan and Anderground of Almaty. 


Park of the Ferst President of Kazakhstan is located on Al'farabi Street. This park was opened in July 2010. This park has the large number of fountains and beauterful nature. Nowadays this park is suitable far a good and calm rest. If you want to spend time in beauterful place and to enjoy the peoce and quiet, this place will be ideal for you.

The next place is Underground of Almaty. You think that underground is usual place, many cities have undergrounds but for citizens o Almaty underground is a special place. 

Underground of Almaty was opened in Deember 2011. Underground has 7 stations and every station associates with something special for citizens of Kazakhstan. For example, the Station of Abai is named after the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbaev.


 The deepest station of underground is Abai - Station, it is -70 meters in depth. In the first day of opening og underground 11000 guests visited it. It was great. Many people visit the underground not because of getting their station. They come just for making photo and just for looking.

Welcome to Taldykorgan!

Taldykorgan – is one of Kazakh cities, which located on the Silk Road

History of the city: A small village Gavrylivka , developing , gradually turned into a small town. In 1920 the settlement was renamed Taldykorgan ( the Russian equivalent of the primordial word Taldikorgan that in Kazakh means " willow mound ").
In the 30s and early 40s was the center of the village Taldy- Kurgan district , and in 1944 it became a full-fledged city. Already in 1967 the city became the center of the entire region. September 22, 2001 the capital of Almaty region was moved from Almaty to Taldykorgan , and this date was truly the beginning of revival.
Today Taldikorgan growing and transforming in all areas. 

Attractions: The main attraction is Taldykorgana is arch, which is located on the entrance to the city . The design symbolizes the main gate of the regional center. It consists of four support members that as with the four cardinal "shanyrak" support - a symbol of a common home , unity and prosperity. Completes the composition of arms of Almaty region.

Decoration of the city became embankment Karatal . In 2002 there was opened a large water park. Stadium "Zhetysu" is a modern sports facility with 500 seats. There are sporting events regional and republican values ​​.

Culture: In education, in the city works university, academy , 13 specialized secondary schools, 7 kindergartens . The city has a drama theater , 2 recreation parks , libraries and cinemas. For physical culture and sports work on 5000 stadium seats , a sports complex "Zhastar", 5 swimming pools, more than 30 gyms in enterprises and educational institutions.
The city has 15 national cultural centers, 2 museums, art gallery, museum literary poet Ilyas Zhansugurov and historical museum named by M. Tynyshpaev .

Climate: The climate is continental. Winters are cold with strong winds and frosts. Summers are hot and dry. Low humidity and low blood pressure.
Taldykorgan is famous for its nature.

City population: 118,000 people, where represents 70 nationalities.

   Almaty is situated in the center of the Eurasian Continent  on the southeast of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Almaty is a cosmopolitan city that boasts of some of the best restaurants, museums and hotels in Central Asia. Russian and Kazakh are the two major language spoken in Almaty although many people speak English. This city is located in the shadow of the west Tian Shan Mountains. A visit to Almaty provides an excellent opportunity for skiing. Almaty’s main ski resort has a quaint alpine style hotel for overnights. The Central state Museum offer an excellent  overview of Kazakhstan’s history and includes numerous exhibit halls which provide an overview of the country’s chief archeological  treasures and ancient traditions. Visitors to the city should also not miss Panfilov Park and the fabulous Russian Orthodox Cathedral.

                

There are several picturesque lakes in the mountains of Zailiskiy Alatau. One of them is Bolshoe Almatinskoe. It is especially beautiful in the morning , when  blue surface  mirrors the sky and surrounding mountains. The excursion to Big Almaty Lake is interesting any time of the year. Even in winter, when its surface covered with ice and snow, it captivates with its spaciousness and mystery.

             You can feel glaciers breath in the residential areas on the south while being at the 1500-1700  meter height over the sea level in Medeu and Kamenskiy Plato tracts.

             Almaty   is large political , cultural, financial, scientific and industrial megalopolis of Kazakhstan. The climate of Almaty is sharply continental with significant temperature fluctuations during the year and the day.

 The first thing to see is “The Bayterek Tower”.

It has become a new stage of  Kazakhstan’s history.

The Bayterek Tower  is the Atana’s symbol. The meaning of the word “ Bayterek  ” is  a poplar tree holding a golden egg.The height of construction is 105meters.   Here you can  not only hear about the history of our capital ,but also spend your time with pleasure .

 The second peculiarity of this town  is a diversity of religious temples:such mosques as "Hazrat Sultan" (one of the big mosque in Central Asia ) and the "Nur Astana"

Church of St. Alexander Nevsky  and  Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Archdiocese of St. Mary. It means , that Astana is one of the international countries.

 

Another building is “The Khan Shatyr” -  the most spacious entertainment center in Central Asia. Total area of  "Khan Shatyr " - 127 thousand square meters, the amount - 1.5 million cubic meters.

 There are a lot of greens , lots of light , which is covered with modern material.

 The main aim of this shopping and entertainment center is to achieve  the maximum comfort of the guests .

"Spiritual capital" of Kazakhstan.

Spread on both banks of the Irtysh  river, Semey is one of the largest and most beautiful cities in the country.

Words can not convey all the beauty of the city, where the past and present, intricately intertwined and create its unique shape. Broad avenues and modern quiet ancient streets, high-rise buildings, neat houses, old architecture monuments, elegant buildings in suburban suburbs, numerous parks and gardens, the abundance and variety of transport, music night cafes, evening church bells chime and muezzins singing in the morning - it is a portrait of contemporary Semey.

Semey undoubtedly belongs to the cities, on the face of which bears the stamp of history. The word "Semey", according to some scholars, is translated from the ancient "spiritual place".

The current appearance of the city is characterized by a number of interesting architectural structures. The first is a unique ensemble of the central square named after Abai. Can not say about the Youth Palace , the House of Trade Unions , the Palace of Marriages , buildings , state archives , river and air terminals , hotels " Binar " , "The Tourist" and "Irtysh" , which offer a wonderful view of the downtown area and the left bank .

Striking landmark of the city has become a new suspension bridge over the Irtysh River . It is only in the CIS and 17 in the world suspension bridge. Namely, this structure only three . General reconstruction associated with its construction touched many corners of the city .

Guest is always interesting to visit the city's celebrations.Spring festival " Nowruz " , the City Day and Tatar sabantui are the most popular celebrations in the country.

Welcome to The city of Karaganda!!!

The city of Karaganda is an industrial center, an important railway and air routes, the city of high science and culture, a lively point of many tourist routes. The city was founded on February 10, 1934. In Karaganda coal mining, machine building, metalworking and food industries are enterprised. In the city there is a large number of enterprises of transport and communications. It is believed that the city got its name from the common in these places bush Karagan (yellow acacia). Even in the XIX century there was nothing. A legend says that in 1833 a shepherd boy Appak Baizhanov found coal.

 

Cultural life of the city is very interesting and diverse. In the town of connoisseurs of art visitors are waiting for the concert hall "Shalkyma", where recitals of classical music are the composers, conductors and musicians.

All residents and visitors welcome to Kazakh Drama Theatre which was named after S.Seyfullin, Russian Drama Theatre which was named after K.Stanislavskii and Academic Theater of Musical Comedy.

 

Within the city there are about 50 monuments of history and culture: Culture Palace of the miners, Sports Palace named after N.Abdirov, hotel "Chaika", the circus, monuments for Bukhar zhyrau, G.Mustafin, A.Baizhanov "Miner's Glory", military glory monument "Eternal Flame", architectural memorial ensemble in honor of the war-Karaganda, who died in Afghanistan, and others.

Almaty or Alma-Ata (“Alma”- apple, “Ata”-grandfather in Kazakh language). Actually, Almaty is situated at the foot of incredible mountains and surrounded by beautiful apple orchards. Almaty is the largest city in Kazakhstan. Here are the mountain ranges on the one hand and on the other hand you will see boundless steppes with beautiful nature and animals. You can see rare animals of the Red Book. Singing barkhans, canyons,  waterfalls and gorges, rivers and lakes. Our flora and fauna are amazing!
